Students in Jacksonville, Florida may soon receive a music scholarship thanks to Michael, who gifted them $100,000 back in 1984.
The money Michael gave to them was put into a trust fund which is now worth $173,600 after the interest has been added.
The scholarships must be given to deserving children who are seriously interested and are actively pursuing to study music, according to the city ordinance.
