Murray Banned From House Arrest
October 12, 2012
Conrad Murray has been waging a campaign to serve his sentence under house arrest at his home, or monitored on an electronic tag.
His latest attempt happened when he told staff at the Los Angeles County Jail that because he could not exercise in his cell, he could have blood clots in his legs. He was taken to hospital where he was found to be in good health. However, he has now been moved to one of the biggest cells in the prison.
“The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department maintains that Dr. Murray isn’t eligible for house arrest or electronic monitoring.”
No reason was given for the decision but he had previously been considered a flight risk.
