MJTE Sells 3 Million
Three million units of Michael Jackson: The Experience have been sold worldwide, according to MCV. In the UK alone the game has sold three hundred and nineteen thousand units to date and those numbers only include sales on Wii, DS and PSP. That’s not counting the franchise’s expansion to Xbox 360 and PS3 next week.
“We’re delighted with the sales success of ‘Michael Jackson: The Experience’ to date,” Ubisoft’s UK marketing director Murray Pannell told MCV.
“It’s a hugely fun and well-loved game in the UK. The Wii version has been extremely well received and we’re now looking forward to bringing the game to a wider group of consumers when it launches on Kinect and PS3 later this month.”
The PS3 and 360 SKUs are different games to the Wii, DS and PSP versions, offering new functions, full-body tracking (on Kinect), new songs and improved visuals.
The games are due for release on April 15th.
