Carlos Santana has been an ethereal guitarist whose music means more to him in a spiritual way, since 1967, and has toured the world many times.
In a recent telephone interview, reported in the Bangkok Post, he spoke of his music and his influences. In a long and interesting interview he spoke of Michael, saying:
“A lot of singers today try to sound like Michael Jackson but Michael was unique, he was number one in making everyone feel childlike, in making us feel the innocence and purity. He gives everybody supreme entertainment, and he gives everybody hope. To me, he’s number one in making people feel happy.”
