‘Thriller Live’ Continues To September
‘Thriller Live,’ featuring Michael’s songs and The Jackson 5, has increased its booking period by three months, to Sunday 25th September 2011, at the Lyric Theatre, London.
The show opened at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, on 21st January 2009, following previews from 2nd January 2009, to good notices from the popular press:
THE GUARDIAN says, “It’s cute, kicking and retro.”
THE STAGE says, “Some of the set pieces, particularly the ‘Billie Jean/Thriller/Bad,’ set are, quite literally, thrilling.”
THE EVENING STANDARD says, “Thrilling, certainly, but empty, too.”
THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, “A glitzy concert of song and dance…a great night out.”
THE DAILY EXPRESS says, “A hugely enjoyable, gloriously upbeart, high energy show.”
THE INDEPENDENT says, “Immensely enjoyable.”
The show, originally conceived and created by Adrian Grant, is directed by Gary Lloyd.
Unlike other West End productions, ‘Thriller Live,’ is not a rigid book musical with set songs, but is a constantly evolving music concert celebration.
Highly recommended!
