Isabel Suckling, who is twelve years old, is the youngest classical artist to sign a record deal. The choirgirl has been tutored and managed by Aled Jones, himself a former choirboy and now a television and radio presenter.
Decca label bosses are now styling her as The Choirgirl, ahead of the release of her debut album later this year.
She will also be put up as a challenger for the Christmas Number one when she releases her cover of Michael’s ‘You Are Not Alone’ in December.
Her first single will also raise money for charity Age UK.
