Wrongful Death Lawsuit Goes Ahead

Joe Jackson filed a civil lawsuit against Conrad Murray, which was refused by Judge John F. Walter. On August 4th, 2010, Judge Walter requested that Joe Jackson prove that the United States District Court, Central District of California had jurisdiction in the case because in Mr Jackson’s original complaint, he failed to “allege the defendant’s principal place of business.”

Mr Jackson’s attorney Brian Oxman has now filed the necessary details and the judge has allowed the lawsuit to proceed. The civil lawsuit targets Dr. Murray as well as his businesses, Acres Home Heart & Vascular Institute and GCA Holdings, LLC for the wrongful death of Michael.

Mr Jackson is seeking unspecified damages.
