Nokia has revealed that Michael is the most downloaded act across the thirty-six markets its Ovi Music store is live in. He is most popular in India, with the country accounting for 26% of all Jackson-related downloads. The UK was second (15%), followed by Germany (10%), The Netherlands (7%) and Finland (7%).
‘Beat It’ has also emerged as the most popular song from a catalogue of five-hundred and thirty-three Jackson tracks. ‘This Is It’ was the most popular Jackson album on Ovi Music, outselling the next most popular album at a rate of 2:1.
Last week, Nokia announced that it was re-branding its unlimited mobile music service Comes With Music as Ovi Music Unlimited.
