Spike Lee Does It Again!

On August 29th, Michael’s 52nd birthday will be celebrated in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York, at another event organised by Spike Lee, who directed Michael’s ‘They Don’t Care About Us’ short films.

The is the second time Spike Lee has paid tribute to Michael in this way and he said of the event; “I’m looking forward to everyone from all corners of the world coming together to honor, pay respect and love the life of Michael Joseph Jackson.”

Last year, fans packed the park to pay tribute by sporting ‘Thriller’ outfits, white gloves and Michael T-shirts and the same is expected this year during the five-hour party, where DJ Spinna will play Michael’s innumerable hits.

“It’s going to be bigger and better this year,” Lee added, who will be documenting this year’s celebration with his production company, 40 Acres And A Mule. “People are going to come from all over the world.”

Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson celebration is at Prospect Park’s Nethermead. (Enter at 16th Street and Prospect Park Southwest).

It will be on August 29th from Noon – 5.00 p.m.
