No ‘Glee’ for Michael?
Ryan Murphy who created the popular show ‘Glee’ has denied rumours that he is working on a Michael episode.
Speculation was that a Michael episode would be screened in February 2011 immediately following the Superbowl.
Murphy told Ryan Seacrest on his show that he would like to do a Michael episode however, that he does not have the rights to do so. “At this point it is really hard to clear Michael Jackson music,” he said.
Earlier this week, lead star Mathew Morrision, who plays Will Schuester, thought it “would be pretty cool.” Morrison added that “he is probably the best and most iconic performer in the history of music.” Another ‘Glee’ star Jenna Ushkowitzas, who portrays Tina Cohen-Chang, seconded Morrison but said that a Michael episode would be challenging.
