Documentary filmmakers from German and Japanese television were in Gary last weekend visiting and filming sites from Michael’s life as a young and upcoming star with his brothers. They visited 2300 Jackson Street and Mr Lucky’s nightclub where Michael’s career began as lead singer of the Jackson 5 in the 1960s.
Among those interviewed was Steve Manning, who was president of the Jacksons’ first fan club. Mr Manning said during the interview that he wished Michael could see how much he was loved.
