In Dresden, Germany, on Friday, Michael will be awarded with a posthumous prize for his worldwide charity work. The award will be accepted by Michael’s sister LaToya.
Hans-Joachim Frey who is the director of the Semper Opera Ball explained why they were honouring Michael in this way; “Michael Jackson supported thirty-nine foundations and charity projects, started his own foundation and donated a total of more than three hundred million dollars.”
There are expected to be more than two thousand people attending the event.
