Michael Wins 4 AMA’s
Michael won a record four posthumous awards at Sundays American Music Awards.
Taylor Swift who was named the year’s favourite artist, said in her speech; “To even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson, who we will miss and love forever, is an unimaginable honor.”
The awards Michael won are as follows:
Favourite Male artist in Pop/Rock
Favourite Male artist in Soul/R&B
‘Number Ones’ was Favourite album in Pop/Rock
‘Number Ones’ was Favourite album in Soul/R&B
Michael has now won a total of twenty-three AMA’s making him the most honoured AMA artist in history.
Jermaine Jackson accepted the awards for his brother saying; “The message that Michael had will live on forever. He saw good in everyone and he wanted everyone to do good. He always started with love.”
