Rodney Jerkins Talks To Vibe
September 5, 2009
Rodney Jerkins worked for three years with Michael on what was to be his final studio album, ‘Invincible’. He was only nineteen years old when they began to work together.
In an interview with Vibe Magazine Rodney speaks of Michael’s search for perfection in his music, and about his generosity as a friend. They spent a lot of time together, and shared similar goals for the album, which sold over thirteen million copies, even though it was not heavily promoted at the time. He would like ‘Invincible’ to be re-released as there were many songs on it that he feels should have been released as singles and that would have been a success.
