Search Warrant & Affidavit

CNN have reported on the list of drugs that Michael was given leading up to his death which were included in the ‘Search Warrant and Affidavit’ leaked to the media. To see a copy of this document, please click here.

Dr Drew Pinsky who is an addiction specialist said of the dosage of drugs; “I don’t make that he’s (Dr Murray) treating insomnia, that’s for sure! There is simply no rational basis for this combination for the treatment of insomnia, there’s no protocol on earth that would include these substances.” He also added that even if Michael had a tolerance to these drugs and was in withdraw, it was still enough to “take down an elephant”.

Edward Chernoff who is the attorney for Dr Murray has issued the following statement in response to the Search Warrant and Affidavit being leaked to the news: “The timeline reported by law enforcement was not obtained through interviews with Dr Murray as was implied by the affidavit. Dr Murray simply never told investigators that he found Michael Jackson at 11.00a.m. not breathing. He also never said that he waited a mere ten minutes before leaving to make several phone calls. In fact, Dr Murray never said that he left Michael Jackson’s room to make a phone call.”
