DEA Search Mickey Fine’s Pharmacy
August 20, 2009
United States Police and Drug Enforcement Administration have searched the Mickey Fine Pharmacy and Grill for evidence of “improper dispensing of controlled substances”.
This search follows another investigation last week of a pharmacy in Las Vegas connected to Michael’s physician, Dr Conrad Murray, whose role in his death has been under increasing focus.
Officers were searching evidence that an anesthetic of the type thought to have killed Michael was bought by the doctor. Over the past month, a number of Dr Murray’s offices and his home have also been searched.
Sources indicate they are working on the belief that the physician gave Michael Propofol, a powerful sedative, to help him sleep shortly before he died.
