Firm In Talks For MJ Exhibition
Musealia, a San Sebastian, Spanish company is in talks with John Branca to stage a display of Michael’s personal memorabilia, which it is hoped will tour the world, to tie in with the forthcoming film of his O2 Arena rehearsals.
Judge Mitchell Beckloff has not yet authorised the memorabilia tour due to objections from Michael’s mother. Half of the revenues from the exhibition would go to Jackson’s estate, with the other half going to AEG.
The exhibit would contain one-hundred and twenty original objects belonging to Michael along with photographs and a recreated stage from one of his concerts spread out over 1,200 square metres (13,000 square feet).
The president of Musealia, Jesus Ferreiro, said that although the negotiations are extremely complicated, he hopes that they will be successful.
