In a three hour, twenty-eight song set at the O2 Arena in London , Pearl Jam, one of the bands replacing two of Michael’s concerts, paid homage to him.
Before launching into ‘Rats’, Eddie Vedder gave a nod to; “the man who was due to grace this same stage.” During the performance of that song they played an acoustic snippet from one of Michael’s earliest solo singles ‘Ben’.
