It is being reported in the American media that Sony has paid $60million to AEG for the footage of Michael’s ‘This Is It’ concert rehearsals, and will release it as a film in October. Due to this, the two tribute shows which were rumoured to be taking place for Michael on August 29th and 30th will no longer go ahead. The footage which Sony has bought was going to be used for these shows too, but obviously Sony does not want it screened before their film is released.
