Dixie Chick star Natalie Maines told Radio interviewer Howard Stern that she had been asked to invite Michael and his family to her Halloween party by Mrs Peck, Gregory Peck’s widow. Maines said, “A couple of people went up to him and told him he had the greatest Michael Jackson costume ever!”
Apparently, the DJ for the party at Maines’ California home assumed it was a Michael impersonator and started spinning ‘Thriller’ when he walked through the room.
Michael attended the party with the wife of the late actor Gregory Peck, who was one of Michael’s friends.
Maines added that Michael brought all three of his children to her party and noted that the eldest, in particular, seemed to be “well-adjusted” and “self-assured.”
